I took 3 DNA test this year by Ancestry, 23 & Me and Native American: So let's start off with Ancestry finding regarding Indigenous in me. They found nothing but they were able to find Indigenous in my whole family but me so I call inquiring about it and was given a phone number and redirect to call a different. department so I call and it will ring several times and kept on hunging up on me. I call back explain the problem and the guy who answered the phone guaranteed me that he has another phone number for me to call and it want be the one that I was calling. Now keep in mind this guy have never ask me what phone number that I was calling so he start to read off this so call guaranteed new different phone number I observe it was the very same old number that I had. I quickly point this out to him and request that if someone else please reach out to me. The guy stated sorry ma'am but you need to call that number so once again as a sick deja vu all over again I call and it hanging up on me. I call back in explaining their phone problem but once again given the same bad number plus it's like they all are trained on pretend that this line works this phone number will ring about 8-10 times then hang up. I requested to speak to a supervisor only to hear him say this "Their DNA test is like a novelty item and they are still doing research to improve on how to detect indigenous people and referred me to find another company who specialize in it." All 3 DNA test was taken on the very same day and mail off at the very same time but Ancestry took way longer than any of them and was the last to come in plus if you run into a problem like I did regarding 3 companies taking my DNA and only Ancestry is not picking up on something. All Ancestry will do is start repeating off a script on how their test is done and if you get tired of hear the person on the phone and recall back in with another person, trust me they will start to repeat the very same script to you like sequence. If you give a negative review to Ancestry they are very quick to rush to defend their company and boast and brag plus and hear go that same script again. The crazy part of my story was out of all the time's I call not once did they ever wish to know my name to look into anything. Ancestry is wrong but quick to try and be strong about being wrong. 23 and Me did find Native American DNA with my family and I but not as thorough or so detail as Native American DNA was but 23 and Me was great in finding so much other stuff about me regarding my ancestry composition. I was very please with 23 and Me also for different reasons. Their test was the second to come in. Native American DNA was very professional to work with and gave me a more clear picture of what I am in detail unlike Ancestry. 23 and Me gives a person a different view of all the stuff I had along with indigenous. I question each other company on the phone Ancestry & 23 and Me both said that they don't specialized in Indiana DNA but their are companies that do an this I found to be so true regarding Native American DNA test. Native American DNA test had to be the best regarding time to give any results plus a more clear picture of your Native heritage.
