Lovely pedestal sink, but description on Amazon page clearly states the mounting kit is included. NOT. My plumber just had to go out to buy a kit; the instructions state: Buy your own mounting kit at your local hardware store. This takes some of the shine off my pretty new sink because I don't like paying twice for things (mounting kits) and this little snag has added considerable time to my plumbers' overall bill.My powder room needed some space and this sink fit the bill. I like the country feel and this was perfect. American Standard has a toilet that matches the sink and ties in with the country theme. Also, my father used American Standard products and I did research reviews about them.I love my sink, toilet and powder room.A classic design with, for lack of a better term, "fluted" edges. The built in back splash is an attractive feature, as others have pointed out.This is taller than standard counters. Has nice counter area.This is the second Townsend pedestal sink I have purchased- one for our home and one for a motherin law apt. It is great quality.
