I work in aerospace defense manufacturing, all of our personal tools must pass QC inspection annually to be used in the facility. If any tool fails you will be asked to remove it from the facility. I purchased these with minimal expectations if they failed our lab test I was going to throw them in the garage for an off chance I’d need a mic at home, surprisingly they passed inspection. We check parallelism at full close and full open, and any measuring device we require to have no error greater than its measuring capacity in this case the tool measures to .0001 so it’s tolerable range of accuracy is just that.Also it’s very well built, the ratchet stop is very smooth feeling the thimble lock is metal. It holds and releases fairly nice. Lastly The 2” master that came with my micrometer measured 2.000015 in the lab.Good work Dasqua!
